Villains

The villains plaguing New York City and the rest of the world.

The Einherjaren

A gang who claims to be the resurrected souls of those who fall in battle.

The Einherjaren

Woden - Level 7

The presumed leader of the Einherjaren, Woden has control over birds. It is not believed that there is any limit to the range of his control, though he has not been known to establish control at a great distance. It is also believed that he is limited to only a handful of birds at a time, and any bird under his control can be spotted by a distinctive blue iris.

Woden is also a skilled warrior with a spear, and has single-handedly held off the Wardens while covering the retreat of his Einherjaren.

The Einherjaren

Baldur - Level 5

Although possibly the least threatening among leaders of the Einherjaren, Baldur is one of the most dangerous. Baldur does not have any enhanced physical abilities, but instead has a strong mental compulsion that prevents anyone who sees him from performing any act with the intention of hurting him. Functionally, this means that he cannot be beaten in single combat, but he has occasionally been injured by accident as collateral damage.

The Einherjaren

Heimdall - Level 4

Heimdall is often used as a watchman for the Einherjaren. With the power to see everything within his range, he is almost impossible to sneak up on and is able to alert the Einherjaren to trouble whenever a hero shows up to stop them. He is also believed to have the ability to see weakpoints in objects and defences, and can use this to shatter weapons and armour and get past even the most solid blocks from other heroes.

The Suits

A gang led by 4 supervillains themed around playing cards. Strong focus on public crime rather than subtlety.

The Suits

Ace of Hearts - Level 7

The Ace of Hearts is the founder of the Suits. Using his power to swap skills with people, he was able to rise quickly through the criminal underworld by taking people's skill in martial arts, crime planning, and any other skills he considers useful. He is a dangerous combatant, boasting a mastery of a wide array of fighting styles, while also being an expert at stealth and subterfuge.

The Suits

King of Spades - Level 6

A supervillain with the power to mold terrain around him. He uses it to create pits under his enemies as well as to create cover against attackers outside of his range.

The Suits

Queen of Diamonds - Level 5

One of the leaders of the Suits, the Queen is Spades is covered with a layer of crystal. Using her crystals, she can absorb and focus ambient light into beams of concusssive light. She also has the ability to project hard light surrounding herself as a shield, though this drains her energy far faster.

The Suits

Jack of Clubs - Level 4

The Jack of Clubs is the newest member of the leadership of the Suits. The Jack of Clubs wears a power suit that appears to be made out of an old forklift. Using his power suit, the Jack of Clubs can strike and lift with incredible force, while also being defended from harm.

Independents

Villains who work alone rather than as part of a group.

Independents

Margrave of the March - Level 5

A mercenary who accepts work from other villains. Has the power to temporarily change how people experience the flow of time. Uses his power to slow people down and accelerate himself and his allies. Limited to affecting only 3 people at a time.

For most of his career he was only involved in relatively small jobs. Robbing casinos and covering getaways were the highest profile he got, but in recent weeks he's been getting involved in higher profile work, including an attempt to detonate a large explosive on top of the Empire State Building. This has led to a sharp increase in his bounty, leading many to wonder what his motivation could be for this activity.
